This Isn't Jail...It's Your Dorm Room!

This isn't a picutre of a jail cell in Attica, unfortuneately this is what your typical college dorm bed looks like. A twin XL mattress, made of plastic, sitting on a cheap wooden bed frame, surrounded by four very close walls. Take into account that you need to share this small space with at least one other person, and you get the idea of how challenging it can be to live in the dorms. Luckily you don't have to go at it alone. Many a student has faced the trials of dorm life before you, and you can take advantage of what they learned to do to help turn this cell into one of the best experiences ever!

First the bedding situation should be addressed. Don't fall into the trap of buying one of those cheap egg create mattresses, trust me, you get what you pay for. Using one of the $14 egg create toppers you find at your local target or Bed Bath & Beyond won't help very much. Your bed will still feel like you are sleeping on an elongated rock surface. This very problem, and my love for business is what inspired me to start Dorm Beds.com after living in the dorms myself for two years.

I soon realized freshman year that my egg create mattress topper wasn't going to cut it, so I sought out a product that could deliver the comfort I needed to make even my dorm bed a place I liked to sleep. I ended up buying an overpriced 2" memory foam mattress topper for $199. Although comfortable, the price was ludacris. I realized that all students were uncomfortable, but NOT all students could afford to pay the premium for these memory foam toppers. I set out to change that, and after approaching several suppliers, found one who was willing to take a chance on me and work with me to help offer bedding products college students could afford. Check our our complete Dorm Beds.com product line today! We promise you won't find a better product for the price.
